Crazy Patch Project

This is a sample of what will be taught at the Crazy Patch Workshop on May 1. Your kit will include everything you need: fabric, thread, needles, DMC floss and trims. All you will need to bring is a thimble (if you use one) and your scissors!

INSTRUCTOR: Charity Law
DESCRIPTION: Want to make beautiful scrapbooks but don’t think you have the time? If you have a computer, you CAN scrapbook! This workshop will teach you the basics of computer scrapbooking using the Creative Memories StoryBook Creator software. Learn how to create beautiful scrapbooks in minutes without scissors, paper, stickers and all the other stuff you may think you need.

DESCRIPTION: This paper album is the perfect gift for Mother’s Day, a birthday or any other special event. Photos are not required (but encouraged) for this project.
BRING: Basic cropping tools (trimmer, scissors, tape runner) glue stick NOT encouraged.

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Workshop - Quick Jot Journal

INSTRUCTOR: Pam Butler, Club Scrap
DESCRIPTION: This is a great project to start with if you are new to bookmaking and perfect for experienced bookmakers to make their own. Inside this 4 x 6 journal you’ll find a cute little notepad and a hidden pocket for keeping mementos.

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Workshop - Assembly Line Scrapbooking

INSTRUCTOR: Pam Butler, Club Scrap
DESCRIPTION: Imagine attending a crop and making 10-14 pages in two hours! You can scrap quickly and beautifully whether you’re using your own paper or Club Scrap’s monthly kits using Club Scrap’s “Assembly Line” cutting/assembling method. We’ll make six 12 x 12 layouts in an hour!

11:00 a.m. - 12 noon Workshop - Dress Your Desk

INSTRUCTOR: Class offered by Craft-N-Camp, a weekend retreat that allows women 18 and up to get away and concentrate on working on their craft projects that they might not have time for at home. Whether you knit, paint, scrapbook, stamp, bead or crochet, CNC offers a weekend with 48 hours, 6 meals, 2 nights lodging, 4-5 feet of workspace and lots of laughs!

9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Workshop - Make Easel Cards with Ease!

INSTRUCTOR: Janice Jones
DESCRIPTION: Create three easel cards. Attendees will learn how to create a card with a built-in easel. When you send someone a beautiful card, an easel makes it so easy for the recipient to display the stamped artwork. Workshop will cover basic stamping, punching, scoring and filling in color on line art stamps.

11:00 a.m. - 12 noon Workshop - Watercolor Class with The Angel Company

INSTRUCTOR: Karen Seifert
DESCRIPTION: Create three cards using watercolor crayons and waterflow brushes. For the first two cards, if you can scribble you can do this technique and your results will be beautiful! On the third card you will learn to shade and blend. Be prepared to WOW yourself!

DESCRIPTION: Design and decorate your own Cricut, Expression, JukeBox or Cuttlebug Vinyl Cover (included) or choose from a PaperCrafting Kit with free Scrapbook kit included.

Includes choice of either vinyl cover kit that will be personalized in class for those who have a Cricut or Cuttlebug OR paper craft kit which will include everything needed to complete a craft which has been pre-cut with the Cricut and will also include a scrapbook kit.
